Jala and Dave are joined by Andy to discuss the 1982 sword and sorcery film, Conan the Barbarian.

Additional listener comment which came in while we were recording from Randomsome:

I have high praise of Conan the Barbarian. I think of it as the start of the 80’s fantasy movies era. Which is maybe my favorite movie descriptor. It has that look, it has that feel, Arnold of course iconic, and James Earl Jones as your villain in 1982? Legendary. It’s the most dark fantasy and violent of the fantasy movies I hold in highest regard, which it balances well with the fun characters. This starts Arnold era of movies punching way above their weight class, thanks to his involvement. Good things to come!

Opening credits by Sam Hughes.
